Hands-On: Water Blaster Mini Water Cannon

As noted in another thread, I recently got my hands on a couple of blasters from Water Blaster Inc., namely the Mini Water Cannon and the XLR Water Cannon.

Tried both of them out, those presently only have done indoor testing.

The Mini Water Cannon may be the physically smaller of the two blasters, but don't let its size fool you. In the right hands, this piston-based blaster can push out a stronger, thicker stream of water than pretty much any other water blaster on the market! The blaster, itself, is a little heavier than one may first suspect, but its weight makes it feel that much more solid and rugged. Good power aside, both blasters can also easily be opened for cleaning and maintenance by loosening a fastening nut at the end of the pump shaft. Good stuff!

Working on a full review; hope to post it soon. Sadly, won't be able to do any range testing on these blasters for a bit, but I wouldn't be surprised to be able to push streams easily 50' with 'em.

I'm starting to want one now! They'd make good base defense weapons, with a few buckets in your base. I'm eager for the test results.

Where did you get them? I've never seen them in stores, did you buy them online?

The original Water Blaster comes in two sizes:

The XLR (Xtra Long Range), shoots 60 feet or more (really)


The MINI Water Blaster is smaller, and shoots about 50 feet.


Both are so well constructed that Water Blaster Inc. guarantees them against normal breakage for the lifetime of the owner. No kidding. That's how sturdy these water blasters are, and they are manufactured in the USA, not china.

Hey, did you ever do range testing on these blasters? Ever since the community war, I've been thinking about getting one of these after seeing how far the Stream Machine that M4's cousin was using could shoot (It had to have been at least 60 ft.), but I'd rather have one of these, since they're made in USA (Yes, I'm very patriotic. ), and apparently are very durable.

It would be nice if someone measured stats on the Stream Machines too.

Sadly, haven't been able to do range testing on these, though I'd guestimate I should be able to easily reach 50' or more based on the stream thickness and lamination. Now, whether I could reach 60' or more remains to be seen. Will see if I can try to test things before it gets really cold.
