Super Soaker SS 300

Post by GJIV » Fri Mar 04, 2011 4:59 pm

Hi there, lovely members! I just got my hands on a nearly new SS 300! ANd I have to admit this might be the best Soaker I ever had, haha! Such a laminar stream! Such a power, great range! great Soaker :D

@isoaker: It would be an honour for me if I can serve you with a FIRING VIDEO and a REVIEW for ISOAKER.COM!

I have tested it and FIRING TIME IS WELL OVER 4 seconds! Looking up to 8 seconds, to my mind(stats say only 4 seconds, on isoaker.com)! There is also NO range and NO POWERRATING...Another thing: How could you measure output/s, due to the fact that it is a AIR PRESSURE gun and the output/s varies in time of firing^^

I can help you completing this "SS 300 stats" if you want, let me know :)

Woohoo..great thing...:D

Firing time was for stream firing at least 80% max power. Output is measured only for the first second of firing (assuming a shot lasts that long), not the whole duration of a full shot. All blasters, even CPS, eventually drop in output near to the end of a full shot.

Additional reviews and stats are welcome; never got around to range testing before that blaster went into deeper storage.

Wouldn't it make more sense to divide the PC capacity by shot time? That would get you an average output over the entire shot.

THis way you get an average output :) WOuld work well, but isoaker is always trying to show the best of a Soaker (so also the best output^^)

Actually, that's a horrible way to make the calculation. Does anyone here actually keep pulling the trigger until the last dribble of water exits? Most here, I would presume, prefer to do shorter shots, pumping between shots to maximize their stream performance. Moreover, shot times I report are not how long it takes to empty the PC, rather how long the blaster creates a stream of roughly 75% or greater power versus the initial output. Once a stream's performance drops, even if the blaster can still shoot longer, I no longer consider that remaining time part of the shot time.

As GJIV noted, output presented on iSoaker.com are meant to be the maximum/best output a blaster can produce.
