Those having dart wars don't typically like mixing in water blasters. Those having water fights don't care much for dart-firing blasters. Nerf made Switchshots back in 2000 and I don't believe those did particular well. Don't see much of a point in this unless, of course, you can fire water-loaded darts.
That said, the Ultimate Water Warriors line is compatible with some of the Ultimate Air Blasters so one could combine a couple of BBT blasters together to create something like likely performs better than any of the X-Shot blasters.

iSoaker, you can attach a stick of CPVC to the Flash Flood and it'll shoot Nerf darts. (Very well I might add.)
