Advice needed

Hello, everyone - I'm a novice at the "soaking" game, and need some advice. I'm currently working on a theatrical production, during which there is a scene where we need to spray the audience with streams of water. This is to be a thin stream of water, not a major soak of the audience. We need to have about 6 guns positioned in the orchestra pit, where on cue, a crewmember will fire each gun over the audience. The stream from each gun will last no more than 5 seconds. We're looking for a gun that will have a decent length of stream, but also a thin stream.

Give the many different makes and models of water guns that I am finding, I am totally bewildered as to which might be best for our needs. I would gratefully accept any suggestions!

What I wouldn't do to be in another theatrical production...
Anyway, some decent soakers for your needs are the XP 215, Max-D 2000, Max-D 3000, even some of the bigger guns have very small streams. If you see pretty much any soaker of the EX brand, it's almost guaranteed to have a small stream. Others include any big Water Warriors soaker (Blazer, Orca, Vindicator, Lightning, Pirahna, Tigershark. All of them can have huge streams or tiny streams, depending on the nozzle you set them to).
Word of advice, don't get any medium sized guns, because they usually only have one nozzle and it's usually bigger than you need it to be.

I agree with mr. dude. I'd go for a Max-D or a Tiger Shark.

Yeah, I'm late with a reply, but I, too, agree with Mr. Dude's choices. I'd also add the Water Warriors Hornet and Water Warriors Deluge as options as well as the Super Soaker XP220 which seems to be sometime found in stores still.

Good luck with your theatrical production! BTW, if you'd be willing, it'd be great if you could share pictures of whatever water guns you end up getting in use during a performance! Just a thought!
