Welcome to iSoaker.net!

For its size and depending on your fighting style, the Helix can be used quite effectively at closer ranges. Of course, its streams lack the sheer power of large CPS-based blasters, but its area coverage is actually better at close-quarters combat.

A Super Soaker with an Aquapack can be useful. Be sure that your model of Helix is the Max-Infusion version, otherwise it won't have the right connection. The Super Soaker Liquidator, however, is not compatible with the Aquapack. You might consider picking up an Super Soaker Flash Flood or Arctic Blast as well.

If your cap is reverse threaded, then it's Max-Infusion based.

Weird, I wasn't aware that there was a non-Max-I Helix, I thought it was released in 2006 when they introduced the Max-I line.

The Helix actually first appeared back in 2004. Some consider twisting streams rather gimmicky, but for closer-range attacks, they can be rather useful. Granted, setting the Helix's streams on its widest setting spreads streams too thinly, IMO, but the narrow spiraling setting is pretty good. In some ways, the Water Warriors CrossFire has the best of both worlds in the sense it has dual fixed-forward streams that can be set either to spin for better area coverage or lock in position for better range.

Good choice, the Orca is definitely one of the best blasters currently in stores. Some of its nozzles are not that useful, however, it is a great gun overall.
