Essential equipment for snipers...let's see here. First off is the scope. Leopold makes some of the best commerically available scopes, you should be able to get one for about $300-500. You're definitely going to need a ghille suit - one for each surface you plan on blending into (concrete, jungle, grass, etc). Those can be kind of expensive, but well worth it. Skin paint is also useful. A good pair of binoculars will set you back a $100 or so. A camelback refreshment system for getting water during those long days spent waiting for that one perfect shot is also necessary - you can't go getting dehydrated. A Ka-bar knife for last-ditch defense is also recommended.

Your best bet is to stay low and keep quiet. Blend in with your surroundings.

^^^Sorry, but that's what snipers use - heck, that's probably an abbreviated list. I forgot about the suppressor...a decent can will set you back probably a grand for just that. Not even I have all the sniper gear necessary. I can dream though...

Adrian was being somewhat ironic. At least that how I read it. Snipers are actual military personel, while soakers are toy guns. WaterFight "sniping" has no special equipment. All you need is a soaker that reaches 40 feet and up. And even then, that is if your oponent is not paying attention. Actual snipers shoot sometimes from 1 mile. Paintball and airsoft snipers shoot from 150 feet.

So yeah if you do sniping with soakers, other than a long distance soaker, thats about all you need.
