Basically, the list would be comprised of 10 items (though not necessarily in order of importance since that can be hard to determine) with a short description (a sentence or two) and the link to the actual content. Content must be new for the month unless it's a thread. For threads, the thread may be created in earlier months, but must have activity in the current month to be considered for the list. Recommendations for the list can be made for any new content on any site in Soakerdom... definitely NOT limited to content here at iSoaker.com.
That said, the list will be generated from a free-for-all posting thread. From submissions in the thread, I'll select 10 worthy links and summaries. Members who wrote the suggestions will be acknowledged in the selected 'official' listing. That way, members get the best of both worlds: they can browse the links others are recommending or simply wait for the pick of 10 from that listing (subjective, perhaps, but heck, such is life

10 links will probably not be able to cover all the cool new stuff that may occur in Soakerdom over a monthly period. Depending on interest, the final 'official' list may be expanded, but I want to keep the number reasonable, particularly for those newer to Soakerdom. The overall purpose of this listing is to get members more used to exploring different, good articles and threads on various points in Soakerdom.
The chosen list of links and summaries will also be posted on iSoaker.com as a more 'permanent' linking page.
For this month, THIS thread will also be the suggestion thread. For those interested in contributing, post up link suggestions as well as a couple of sentences or so summary of what is being linked to. The idea is to get those who may not know the content to want to explore further.
If anyone has any other questions or thoughts, also use this thread for discussion.
This thread will be open for April suggestions until next Friday (May 5, 2006).
Note: Links pointing to anything prohibited or unrelated to Soakerdom content creation will be removed.
