While this is nothing much really new, as quite a few people here (including me) own CPS 1500, I thought I would post some NIB pictures of the CPS 1500 that came to my door today to share before I opened it, as there are not many NIB CPS 1500 pictures around, although there are a few somewhere.

Here they are.

Now I own 3 CPS 1500's! :p

Thanks for the pics! Looks like a German box.

You seem to be getting a LOT of new soakers these day! Yup, I'm getting envious! :goofy:

Yup, and I'm not stopping yet. :goofy:

It is a German box, I forgot to mention that I got it from eBay.de.

Well, I opened it, and fired it, and WOW! It was powerful, even though 1500's are, but this one was more powerful than my others and had more of a kick giving it more of a shotgun style gun. The range and stream is great too, its so violent, a fair bit more violent than my others. Perhaps I got a different mark.

This though, has proved my theory a bit more, which was that German Super Soakers are generally more powerful than those that were manufactured in the UK and US .etc.

This is because one of my other 1500's is also German, and that shoots very well and is better than the other non-German versions I have, also my 2 CPS 2500's are also German, and they also shoot very well and are a bit more powerful than standard non-German 2500's I have had in the past.

What I am hoping to do is get a video of me shooting this 1500 on the two nozzles to show you, if the weather is Sunny tomorrow, then I'll see what I can do, and then I can give you a better idea of what I mean, the trigger was also a bit harder to pull, giving it more of a bang. This one also seems to pump smoother and better overall as well.

I've still got 3 more guns coming at present, 2 which are the Piranha and the Blazer (which still haven't yet arrived, hope they do soon), and one other really good gun that I managed to get for a good price which I won't tell you about until it comes. You are free to guess by all means, but I won't tell you whether you are right or not until it comes. :p

Sorry I made you envious about that. :goofy:

I was very lucky there, I didn't expect what I saw from this 1500.

Totally agree there, the Germans do make some pretty high quality stuff for sure.

Once again, I'll see if I can get a video, I don't know how long that will take, it all depends on things that are happening at the moment.

If anybody wanted to know, there's another German CPS 1500 on eBay.de right now. Of course, it would cost a bit to get it shipped to the US.

And lucky for you, Wild Boys! Like SharpObjects, I'm jealous...

To get it shipped to the US, it would cost the same as it would to ship to the UK I think, which was € 17 EURO for me.

Unfortunately now, that last CPS 1500 has gone, so hopefully more may come up perhaps.

Sorry to make you all jealous, I can't help it! :goofy:

On the other hand here on the North American continent we have Water Warriors coming out of the retail's wazoo for cheap. :goofy: The german Carrera Cool (euro WW versions) are simply to outragious in prices. 25 Euro for a Stinger last year and 40 Euro for a Krypton.

NO WAY! Those are incredible prices! You live in the USA? I always thought you lived elsewhere. I've seen lots of those Carrera Cool guns on eBay, including a Blazer and a Kryton. But I didn't recall their prices. Those sound about right though, I remember them being expensive.

uh... you saw ZOCCOZ listed the prices in 'Euros'. That means that Krypton is selling for ~$48.42 USD. (The exchange rate from USD to Euro is presently ~1.2107... that's actually less than I thought it would be).

I live in Canada, but now and then check out ebay.de for some rarities. Now having said that, the most rare stuff is still sold by Americans on the original ebay(or US ebay).

Some of them had a higher "buy it now" option. Personaly I don't get why Carrera Cools are so high priced. Having the european manufacturer Carrera taking over for Buzz Bee Toys should mean somewhat similar pricing. Or perhaps thats the reason why those prices are high. All soakers are shipped from China anyways.

That's still really high prices, though. :goofy: But yeah, I thought the exchange rate was a little higher as well. I think the US dollar is increasing in value...

Or other currencies are falling...either way something is happening. My two benchmarks are the price of a double cheeseburger at Buger King and the price of a 3/4" metal ball valve. I've noticed that both fluctuate with the economy and are much higher than they were half a year ago.

$48 is insane. For a nice little comparison, I have never bought any soaker for that much, CPS guns included, and only my first homemade hit that cost. :p

I'm afraid I couldn't really get a video, while I tried, and the weather was Sunny, it just wasn't really the right Summer conditions as the Sun kept going in and out. Not only that, it was windy as well, so no matter what I tried it wouldn't really work out because of that. I think I'll do this later on in the Summer to give you the best quality video. Also, by then, I might have better computer programs to make not only the videos better, but a lot of things as well, since I'm aiming to get SSNation back up and going, once I get some better hosting than GoDaddy (so hard to use and confusing).

'GoDaddy' is a horrid host. On my limited experience with dealing with a GoDaddy set-up (for someone else, not mine), it was a nightmare making sense of their extremely cluttered interface. Bleh...

There are many better options depending on your needs.

Tell me about it, I think I may use the hosting you told me about which was HostMySite, looks pretty good and simple.

When I have a bit more time later on in the year GoDaddy hosting is not going to get renewed, what a waste of $100 for a year.

Before HostMySite, I used to use Internet Direct, but that company seems to have changed a lot since I used them. Even Network Solutions, the original domain registrar, provides hosting and I've dealt with (though don't use for my own sites). The reason I use HostMySite is for its ColdFusion support that iSoaker.com relies upon to work properly. :goofy:

It's.... so..... beautiful......

That's interesting that your German 1500 outperformed your American one! I'm still waiting for my CPS 1500 that I bought two weeks ago on ebay.com (I'm assuming it's an american make). I'm really counting on it arriving tommorow or saturday....
:cps1500:

I'm going to have to start keeping an eye on foreign ebays from now on in case of rarities. I'm guessing that I'd have to watch out for the currency difference.... been through that before....
