Well, if changing ones bid is still possible on the last day(which is today), I will say $320.

I'll leave this thread open for discussion, but any edits or changes made to posts after today will result in that person's guess being voided for the purpose of this contest. Considering the auction has broken the $300 mark, all are welcome to adjust their guesses accordingly. Boy, was I off... :goofy:

So can I change my guess? Or did the guessing already end? If I can change it (it's Wednesday right now), I'll change it to $355.

If there is still time, I change my guess and say $370 now.

The price is pretty stupid, I could just sell my CPS 2000 Mk.1 right now and make a lot more money than what I got it for, and I could probably (if I'm lucky), get one just like mine for way cheaper in the off-season.

kenneth2168 and rookiebuyeronly are having a bidding war. That makes it good for the seller and bad for any buyers.

Yeah, I've thought that way with my Monster XL and CPS 2000 before. But I just couldn't part for them that long, and I would have no way of knowing if I woud ever get them back.

I know I'm gonna seem like a cheap shot putting in my first guess now, but I wasn't terribly interested before today, when I saw that the auction currently stands at $305. I'm putting my guess at... eh... $378.

Heck, I'll re-post my guess as $425.

If this auction breaks the $500 mark, that'd be insane!

As an aside, members are free to adjust their guess until the forum time stamp says it's Thursday April 27, 2006 (forum time).

I guess I'll go with $463.00. This is getting rediculous...

Getting ridiculous. It already IS ridiculous, and was when it hit $200.

And please avoid the excessive smilies. I find it very annoying. One or two (or even three) smilies in a post may actually further the quality of the post and help show the poster's intent and feelings (you can't see a person's face on online forums) but too many is pointless and annoying.

Well, the time run out on guessing. Might aswell share my ingenius strategy. I doubt it will go much past $305. There are only 2 nut-cases bidding, who I have seen buy CPS2000s in the past like they where donuts in a fat camp. Its unlikely that there will be a third maniac joining the club. And perhaps one of the two might get a case of temporary sanity.
Of course my stategy counts on one of the two bidders to let it go.

Sorry, I'm not sure what was ailing me. I usualy am a huge anti-excessive use of smilies proponent. You've never seen excessive smilies untile you've been to MSWDA......

Anyway, I agree that this is already rediculous. $305.00 for a CPS 2000.... I saw them go for under $80 in the winter. If I ever find any NIB CPS 2100s at Sports Authority this year I'm going to have to cash in next year....

Looks like I won...which means that everyone else lost! You all can suck on your game defeat! Hail Victory! :goofy:

So much for being a gracefull winner. Please keep in mind that shameless bragging rights are included in the game rules...actualy they are the only fruits of victory, so there you go.
