Awesome photos
Here's some hardcore photos i took with AMBUSH. enjoy.
I can not put into words how cold that water was.
AMBUSH looks like he has a beard in this one.
This is what hypothermia looks like.
AMBUSH in a bush. lol
Epic
We made a bridge there, but it got washed away.
Fun fun
110% as in going beyond your limits.
There's more on the way!

Re: Awesome photos
The inherent irony in getting yourself soaked in order to soak someone else is pretty hilarious, but I have to admit that I have gone through a creek multiple times to sneak up and soak someone; and I've also had countless pool fights where everyone wet anyway, so it really isn't as ridiculous as it seems at first.
Where were these taken? We have to have a 24+ hour war that's just full out hardcore. Even if we only end up with 6 participants. It would be so awesome.
Those pictures are so epic. Would you mind posting the versions without the texts so that I can possibly use them for future graphics?

Re: Awesome photos
I didn't even have anything to do with this, haha; they took these while I was at school. See, this is why you don't f*** with our team.
Getting soaked to soak somebody used to bother me, but the way I look at it now is, the objective isn't so much to "soak" your opponent as it is to make the hit and eliminate them or get a point for your team. Agreed on a 24-hour war. I might try to throw one together this summer (though it'll likely only be 12 hours), but I don't know how many people would want to do it. The main problem for me is finding a good place.
If I'm not much mistaken, these were taken down the road from where we live. There's this really thick section of woods that we like to explore (it's actually a LOT like St. John's Woods, but with pines), and we actually have fought there a few times. I've thought about using it for community wars but it's kinda someone's property, and while we know the person, I don't know how well he'd react to having a whole bunch of weirdos running around with camo and water guns.

I just love the caption "This is what hypothermia looks like"
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity.

Wow! Haha I guess we should expect an increase in the level of competition come next war! With awesome photos like this I almost feel inclined to change the appearance of Hydrowar to a more hardcore color scheme. What do y'all think?

Re: Awesome photos
This is what we've always been about, but we've never really had the chance to fight like that. I like wargames to be as much like real warfare as possible (except when it comes to combat and tactics of course); long 1HK battles (perhaps with some missions/objectives) spread out over a large area with no idea where the enemy will attack from. If it were a perfect world I'd take things a step further and use stuff like NVG, spy cameras, and maybe even vehicles.
