What is the first Super Soaker to feature a solid black-plastic body?
Bonus questions/hints:
What is the first CPS-based Super Soaker to feature a solid black-plastic body?
What is the first non-branded air pressure Super Soaker to feature a solid black-plastic body?

I think the MXL or monster 2001 is the first CPS to have a solid black plastic body.

Well, the MaxD 6000 and XP 310 came in black colours... not sure under which category that might be?

Non branded Super Soaker? My initial thought is the 2000 line, but that would lead to a conflict between the WWF Undertaker and the Monster XL, so technically that would be 2 blasters, not one. That must mean that this blaster came out prior, but I'm not sure what that would be.

I used the term "non-branded" to refer to the standard Super Soakers as opposed to items like the WWF Undertaker that has another brand tagged on.
That said, marauder is more correct than I!

I forgot about the WWF Undertaker, making it 2 CPS-based Super Soakers released the same year with black bodies. +2 bonus points for marauder!
Oh, and I made a mistake in part of the other bonus question. Should read "non-branded air pressure Super Soaker". Will fix momentarily.
All that said, still no one has said the model for the first black body Super Soaker (at least to the best of my knowledge).

When I first read the OP, I thought of one of the Larami/Entertech Uzi's, then saw "Super Soaker" and gave up after that lol.

I gave up after like 10 minutes of thinking and checked iSoaker.com, but I couldn't find any blasters with black bodies older than the MXL, Undertaker, and two Star Wars blasters, all of which were released in 2000. Of course, you didn't specifically ask for the first blaster with a black body, so there is another option. However I seriously doubt anyone can guess what it is.
Of course, I could be missing a recoloring or something.

I have one of those Star Wars guns with a 1999 copyright date, it's the oldest Super Soaker I have with a black body.

1999 copyright means 2000 release. I'm going to guess it was a special rerelease. Maybe a Power Rangers edition of a classic soaker?
