The best Super Soaker of 2012
Re: The best Super Soaker of 2012
if they can re-release XP215 then, why can't they release something more decent like XP310, they just have to keep making bad new products

No HydroCannon this year? What about MD2k and 3k? (They should have the 3k's but I'm not sure. All I've seen so far are 215's and the new, junky Nerf SS's.)

Dollar General is a good place to pick up old rereleases. They had SS 100s, SS 40s, and SS 25s sometime between 1999 and 2001. Unfortunately, the one near my house closed down, so I don't know what they've carried since.

notice what they're charging for it! it's such a great blaster, and costs so much less than the largest of the year!

I'm pretty sure the Hydro Cannon is still around, but that doesn't count as a new releaseCA99 wrote:No HydroCannon this year? What about MD2k and 3k? (They should have the 3k's but I'm not sure. All I've seen so far are 215's and the new, junky Nerf SS's.)

It's no longer listed on the Nerf website. Apparently they got rid of it. Stock from last year might still be in stores though.

Still a lot newer than the... *drum roll* ...XP 215!Bednesti wrote:I'm pretty sure the Hydro Cannon is still around, but that doesn't count as a new release
Haven't seen any leftover HC's from last year; they might be sitting in the back of store inventories; who knows.
If we're talking new releases only, the best one is a piston pumper that's barely larger than the XP 215. Quite sad really, but it's not like that's any surprise coming from Hasbro.

I have seen some flash floods left on shelves for like 11 bucks at tire... no more ambition to grab them though.
