This is a general digi-pic request for the membership. I'd like to put together a soaker/water war gallery with a winter theme akin to the Autumn Theme image request. Of course, few may be willing to pull out a soaker when there's snow about, but that makes it just that bit more surreal, showing off your true dedication as a water warrior!
Take 'em and post 'em and/or email 'em. No hard deadline, per se, but once Spring hits, Winter-themed pics for 2007/2008 will probably be tough to come by.
I'll push up a gallery page once I have some pictures to post and add in images as I receive them. Thanks and soak on!
Side note: I realize that only those in more Northern regions may be able to take such images. I'd also be willing to include images of summer from those in the Southern Hemisphere as well as images from the topical zones so long as the images are taken during the Northern Hemisphere "winter time" (i.e. between Dec 21, 2007 to Mar 21, 2008).
Bonus Points for the following types of images:
Water fight in the snow
Snowman holding a soaker
Snowman being shot by a soaker
Soaker vs snowball fight

Hmm... I've submitted some last year but apparently, I still haven't gotten my digital cam working yet. =\
There was quite some snow a few days ago, plenty for snowmen, snowballs, etc. but I never really did anything. Now a lot has melted, but some of it recovered yesterday night.

@C-A_99: Yeah, I definitely remember your pics from last year like this one:

However, I'd like new ones for this season if possible! If you do manage to get access to a working digicam, more pics would be definitely appreciated!

The cam has been an ongoing annoyance for a long time, now I'm not even sure where it is. Maybe we should get a new one. Seriously, there's lots of stuff I'm wanting to take pics of other than a 10k pointed at someone threatening it's user with a snowball.
In the meantime, I guess I'll look forward to seeing other winter soaking pics.

It's the one on top of my member profile. Almost a year old, but it works.

@DX: Oh, that one! Well, it's "new" as in hasn't been posted on the site yet. Of course, if any new opportunities arise and you can take more wintery-pics, feel free to take 'em and share 'em!

@Aqua_Flash: nice new pics! Thanks for posting 'em! I'd take more, myself, but the recent warm spell has basically wiped out all the snow around here.
Looks like I can begin putting together an appropriate gallery page (I'll likely move a couple from the Fall '07 gallery into the Winter Gallery page). I should also include some of hdiaz11's pictures, too, just to show the contrast between Northern and Southern hemispheres during this time of the year.
Edit:
Winter 2008 Gallery now online.
