I could have sworn that a similar thread to this existed, but couldn't find it doing a casual search of the forums, thus decided to create this one.

The point of this thread is to note what other equipment (apart from your soakers) do you typically take into battle? Feel free to note how equipment needs change depending on battle type (typically, for example,in longer battles, one would want to have more additional equipment for emergency situations, on-field repairs, etc.)

For me, while I usually only manage to get friends together for all-out soakfests, I bring along funnels and short bits of hosing along to simplify the filling of the various blasters being used.

What other things do you guys use? Shared knowledge can give others ideas on how to make their own water war experiences even better.

I carry at least one knife on my person at all times, even during waterfights. A Spyderco Endura to be exact.

Occasionally, if we're fighting outside normal territory, I'll bring a backpack full of filled 20oz bottles and small towels. Bugspray if we're fighting in a woods, too.

I usually carry a backpack full of things I think I might need like:

Extra Water Bottles (Size varies, usually a gallon bottle) For refills on the field

Tripwire (kind of like a stronger thread that is still thin)for setting traps and repairs

Water Baloons (Full and Deflated) for combat and for setting traps

Flashlight(waterproof, for night fights or fights where it is darker than usual) Mounted on the gun but sometimes put in the backpack.

Knife (for cutting brush, cutting tripwire) I don't normally use a knife but it can be pretty handy sometimes,I use my utility tool intstead (Wider variety of tools, less dangerous)

There is more stuff I carry but it usually depends on the type of situation that I am in.

I carry several liters of water in a backpack, filled water balloons in tennis cans, a pack of unfilled water balloons, a screwdriver, epoxy putty, pocket knife, spare 2100 parts. As you can see, I'm well prepared in case one of my 2100s breaks.

I leave lots of stuff back at the base with my team, but in terms of what am I usually carrying? My primary gun and probably a back up, maybe a backup with extra waterbottles, watterballoons (I made a cool ammo belt for waterballoons) and maybe smoke bombs. Sometimes i carry a knife.

BTw how do you make smoke bombs?

uh...I carry my soaker...now that I'm using my free MXL...well...can't really carry much else...don't have a strap for it and I don't have a backpak I can use for water fights.

Me, I always carry two 500ml water bottles taped to the sides of my CPS 2100. I also would carry binos, walkie-talkies, and some other things I can't think of right now.

We don't shank people with them, jeesh. :p I use mine to fix stuff or cut rope (I use rope sometimes in fights). Last war, we used a rope to pull someone up into a tree, and he ended up sniping a few people.

The most I ever bring to water wars is extra water and backup pistols, maybe that will change very soon.
