Turning a Fan Nozzle Into a Riot Blast

Fan nozzles are probably the worst nozzles you could use in a water war. At least, unless you get a 2013 Super Soaker and decide to use the "atomizing mist"
I have decided to go change out the fan nozzles on all my guns, beginning with the Max D Secret Strike, as I figured this would be a good little gun to learn on.
Epoxied the nozzle

Cut out the filter in the pressure chamber in order to increase flow from the pc out the nozzle

I decided to go with a small (1/16th of an inch) drill bit

Drilling!

the end result

Much better now!

Range
Before: 20 ft max
After: 20 ft max
Output/sec
Before: 2.4 oz
After: 3.5 oz
High Power Shot Time (70% [~17.5 ft] or higher range)
Before: 2.8 sec
After: 1.5 sec
Really, the stats don't do this justice. You can be spraying 2.4 oz/sec at someone 18 feet away but they really aren't getting that wet. Hitting them with a riot blast does way more damage. I'm rather happy with the results.
