XXP 275 mod ideas

I was PMing M4 yesterday and he was talking about heavy xp's like his 275's and 250 he got for testing. So that got me to thinking about mods that could be done, and it hit me the XP 250 PC's hold up to 48oz (including air) which is way more than the 275's PC's. With that much PC volume an air pressure gun can support up to 20x nozzles which due to Ms paint I know that the 275 can fit 10x on each side (in the place of the silly fan). This would be a beast of a gun if anyone is willing to make it. Just saying

Funny you bring this up, I was just PMing Posidon on whether or not the 250 and 275 PCs were swappable. When I get a 275 and 250, I might try this.

Funny you should all say this, I just got a 250 off ebay to mod. 22 bucks shipped is nice.

Figured it's a pretty fun blaster, all I need is a strap and to drill out the nozzles

I <3 the XXP 275. I'm STILL kicking myself for not buying the first one I saw for 5$. If it wasn't for all of the CPS stuff and other guns that were there, I would have picked it up. It was beat up, but functional- perfect for modding. As it stands, my lone XXP 275 is too nice to modify.

But hey, it's still like having a firehose among people with thunderstorms and such. XD
PS: there was an earlier thread where me and Poseidon were talking about modding this gun, including adding a proper trigger.

Where was this place you got all the CPS and other guns?

There was a cps 1200 on ebay for 13 shipped the other day for like, a good week. I almost bought it too, but decided on the 250 instead, I like to think I made a wise choice, more fun at least

Ok all you guys with 250's giving them just 12 pumps" your doing it wrong" the box on isoaker says 50psi but 12 pumps gives just 29.5 I just did the math and it takes 14 pumps to hit 50psi with it (curse them for not adding a gauge).

My secret-super-soaker-shop. They have lots of CPS 1000, 1200, 1500, 2500 etc but nothing I don't already have two of. ;P
--If you look, you will find several posts on my thrift store pillaging conquests. The week they had that XXP 275 they also had a CPS 1000 and 3000, along with some other stuff I collect. I couldn't carry it all, and when I returned to buy it, it was gone. At the time, I didn't know what it was, and after a quick glance at Isoaker I figured that it was good, but not
that good. Now I know better. It's still one of my favorite blasters.

-speaking of that, I'm off for another adventure now.

From what I can remember, there should be a sample post what someone can make out of the XXP 275. I have modyfied mine heavily, with bigger nozzles, much bigger PCs, a QFD nozzle for filling and some small gadgets

SHould ly around somewhere here in the forum

Speaking of modding, for some reason after pumping it a lot, the 250 leaks, not from the nozzle, but various places on the shell. It's very subtle, think it's worth looking into?

I have a 250 and 275 which also leak out of the shell when pumped up all the way. I haven't tested the 2nd 275.
