Collosus, reservoir expansion, backpack mod, check valve freeze, nozzle drilling, remove screens on large nozzle, and PC casing removal are the ones I can think of. What are you trying to acheive? Range? Higher capacity?

Im looking for some range, and more power for the riot blast. Id like to do something simple, with houshold materials. Any thing like that I could do?

Use something sharp to remove the screen in front of the large nozzle. That will add a few more feet of range. I think that's about it for power mods with household materials.

Hmm! Tempting. That might just make me consider taking a knife to my Flash Flood. That could end up being my first modification to a perfectly full-functioning soaker!

the main problem with modding the FF as with other blasters is sawing off the nozzles. once you get into the case its not that bad to mod (from what i hear at least)

What you hear is very silly. That was because the check valve was orange, so someone thought that Super Soaker had labeled it for us to hack off. Then they (don't know who) thought that since they wanted us to hack our guns up, they must have made the rest of the gun "easy to mod" too! The truth is, it's no easier to do a CVF on an orange check valve, and it's no easier to mod than any other blaster I've run across.

this is true, but from what ive seen, some people have done some cool stuff to their FF. a coverless colossus is always sweet looking.

There is a thread in which I have posted that has two possible mods (if you count PVC and a hacksaw household materials)
Here it is:

How hard is it too remove the debris screen? It come out fully, right? I've already bored the standard nozzle(now a ~3x after using 1/8" bit). These mods will also be done to my Sharper Image MI FF when I get it. Thanks, Brad

The screen on mine came off with a little trouble, but nothing to get worked up over.

Another great mod is the addition of a strap. Get a sholace and tie one end around the PC and the other end through the little hole where the trigger is(you'll have to tie it around the front of the PC to do this) This is an Extremely useful mod, as it can allow you to carry back up with your Flash Flood(if you use the riot blast a few times you'll need it)and pretty much works with all guns.

I finally drilled/ripped the debris screen(not too hard when you have a good set of twisers), burst is now alittle tighter. Then, I went ahead and bored the main nozzle one more size(1/8" bit)...which it took to very well.

You could do a pc wall expansion, but you might need water-proof tape. A pc expansion GREATLY increases shot time, and its cool cause you get to see the pc getting bigger and bigger...

But you should be carefull not to pump it too much, when I did that the pc shot of the gun and exploded water everywhere! When urbanfighter7 did this mod he had to dis-able the riot blast :( butthere might be a way to work around this.

Water-proof tape won't hold any pressure! Use epoxy or any stronger material.

I didn't have to dis-ble the riot blas.It just didn't work right on the gun.Dux i use the tape to makesure no water would get in the part of the gun on top that I cut off.Not for holding pressure. :D
