Does any one know if you can check valve freeze the new STE Flash Flood? Also, does any one know any power mods for the FF that will increase the range or output of the FF? Thanx for all of your help!!!!!

Of course you can check valve freeze the FF: it's even made of a different colour plastic, if I remember correctly.

As for increasing power and output, the most obvious mod is of course Collosus!

Thanks, know do you know if it is easy to get the Flash flood open with out any sawing or breaking? also, have you tried to CVF the Flassh Flood with the piping still attached or do you have to remove the piping and if so, how do you do that easily? Also, in the article that you wrote about possible modifications, you said something about removing the pump cap and sawing working well. Now could you explain what the silent trigger mod is, how to do it, and what it does? On the last link, can you do that mod to a FF or just certain guns? Thanks for all of your help!

I have never opened a Flash Flood, and therefore I can not tell you how easy it is to open. However, I do believe I explained the procedure Hunter went through to open his Flash Flood in the TechLog entry I linked to.

Please read my Check valve freezing article for information on how to perform the actual check valve freeze.

Hunter made that silent trigger modification. I would read that thread for more information on it. The name is self explanatory by the way.

As for the last link, which is another pictoral guide to the Collosus modification, you can do that to all water guns with cylindrical pressure chambers. I would not post modifications that you could not do in a thread requesting mods for a certain water gun because that wouldn't make sense.

you have to do the pump cap removal, which involves sawing it or breaking it.

I CVFed my FF, i dont know what trthe bigdeal is, its not a hard mod you know.

In the Flash Flood Trigger thread, you'll find a pic of an opened Flash Flood as well as my reply to your pump-cap problem.
