I have a friend whose only gun is a hydro blade, and I feelt sorry for him and he is letting me mod it, but I wan't to know, which mod would be the best. :cps2000: :baby:

on a hydroblade, theres not much you really can do. You could do a CVF, but that destroyed mine because it overpressurizes it. You could also ozzle drill, but i think eric's better off with long shot time. BTW SSC is more tech/mod oriented than here.

The trigger mod makes the trigger work better. It doesn't increase range or power. I would do a check vavle freeze which will add a couple of feet onto the range.

^ that Max-D trigger mod is more of a repair, IMO, if the trigger is broken as opposed to a useful mod. Working Max-D trigger perform better. Only if they break/fail to open properly should they be tweaked.

As for other mods, not sure one can recommend much for the Hydroblade. As a pressurized reservoir blaster with a funny nozzle opening, the possibilities are limited. I'd lean towards recommending just getting a better soaker instead.

The Hydroblade doesn't have a check valve.

Edit: I just read alot of mod articles, and I discovered that a stock hydro blade contains many mods, like a check valve absence and that the pump is made of the best pvc pipe that I have ever seen, plus all of the interal metal parts are made out of some sort of brass and alumanum alloy.

ALL soakers have Check valves! The hydroblade's one is just in the pump, and BTW the hydroblade pump pvc is very thin and weak.

if that is where the chk valve is, then a check valve freeze is impossible.
