Umm, well quite frankly there is no truly non-permanent mod. Any mod you do is bound to leave at least a little scar on your gun, unless it is something really rudimentary like duct-taping a scope or light on it (not useful anyway).

The ones listed above sound much more permanent (well, apart from the backpack one). As Soakologist noted, only thing that would be non-permanent would be some light exterior mod like taping/tying on a flashlight or scope.

With the CPS 2700, you can unscrew the nozzle selector for a very large nozzle. It can also be done with some other waterguns. It is generally reversible unless you loose the pieces to it.
