I had a CPS 1700 with a broken nozzle and a CPS 1500 without a PC, trigger, and several other defective parts.
I saw a possibility. >:-}
I took both guns apart and scanned out the situation. I decided to go with the CPS 1500's body shell because it was in better condition (and because I prefer gray). I replaced the Trigger, PC, and Backside of the white nozzle-predicate. I had to unscrew both guns' nozzle predicates and make slight saw incisions into them to loosen the rather tight epoxy on it. I then screwed both of the effective predicate parts together and discarded the defective parts. I then unscrewed the 1700 PC and K-Modded it with some leftover Balloons. I then refastened the gun together and drilled out a slightly larger nozzle (The Cap and Selector for both 1500 and 1700 were lost long ago).
The Transplants were a success!
The CPS 15,700, a truly unique gun, now shoots a ~15x shot about 55'. I couldn't be prouder!
Pics coming soon...

Make that two success stories... I also replaced my 1500's old internals (check valve frozen, but I have had no luck getting the 1500 internals to work properly) with those of the 1700 because the 1700 I bought from a friend had a very beaten-up case (there were several large holes in it from where he had to work on the trigger mechanism) and the pump handle was broken off. I used the internals only and used the 50 balloon K-modded PC/reservoir tank from the 1500 since they were in better shape as well.
With the addition of a KingSoaker 21000 I will have two K-modded soakers. Can't wait to see how that one performs.
