Ok, I'm going to do a full K-mod to my gun soon. Firstly I'll do the CVF. I already opened it and checked it out. I have done a CVF before but I'm not familiar with the CPS 1700's check valve. Is it the little purple part that I saw off? Anyone who has done this to a 1700 before should know what I'm talking about... I think..

I've not opened a CPS1700 yet, but would assume it looks similar to the CPS4100s. Seen the pics Veteran posted? CPS4100 internals by Veteran
I'd assume the internals should look similar. The check valve on the CPS4100 is shown more clearly in the 2nd picture in that thread. It is the white tubing+valve portion that is behind the other tubes just beneath the reservoir. If it were to be removed, you'd need to plug up two holes to prevent water from leaking either out of the reservoir or from the PC-chamber/pump side opening.

The check valve on the CPS4100 is also seen in the 3rd pic, on the right just beneath the CPS-chamber casing. I'd imagine the CPS1700 has a similar tubing/valve arrangement as this.

You might consider taking a pic and posting it before you do any cutting if you are unsure.

Ok I think I understand it but I will be posting a pic of it before I do it. Also when I k-Mod it do I just pull the PC out of it place? It seems to be on there pretty tight so I'm not sure whether I pull it off or not.

Me: never done a K-mod. If you can get the balloons over the PC without needing to remove it, it's safer (since you don't then have to reattach the PC which could result in leaking issues). Of course, others who have done it can say much more on the subject than I.

Just make sure you have a feel for the general limits of your blaster and your own capabilities when modding. Experiment within the safe limits set by your abilities. Also note, just 'cos someone says to do something one way, you can always try something else if you think you've got a new idea on how to improve on it.

Ah iC. Once I get the balloons I will probably try doing it by leaving it in its place haha.

Oh yeah I'm just wondering, I've looked through the main site a million times but I didn't notice if there was Mods section... is there?

There are no Mods on the main site... but if you know how and where to _dig, you might be surprised what you find. ???

Note: if you do find something _interesting, don't link to _it or mention _it elsewhere. Just consider it something that only those who need to know should know.

I know this is off topic but why do you put _ before some words?

Let us not speak of the horrid truth that lies beneath the otherwise serene surface of isoaker.com.
