All this talk about 1200s is making me want to test mine, yup, I knew it would come in while I was gone at the battle which I needed it! :P At least I think it has come in, I don't know what else could be in such a large box, unless maybe he shipped my 1000 separately, though the box is a bit big for just that. I can get 50ft with the two 25ft tape measures I have, we will see how mine does, and if it is broken then me and the seller have problems!

Edit: I just tested mine, only gets about 40ft. I didn't test it that well, but it hit the same spot as my 1000 and I measured that at 40. Unfortunately the 12K has a pressure leak, though the 1000 works great so I don't think I will be returning them. (who knows, the 12K might be fixable?) It isn't a fast leak but enough that you wouldn't want to use it in combat. For $25 for both, I'm pretty happy.

For $25, I wouldn't be complaining either. As for the leak, it depends where it is. Virtually all leaks are fixable, it's just a matter of how easy it is to fix. A leaky nozzle is (almost always [based on how common they are]) very easy to fix (rubber band mod, or something similar usually does the trick). Leaky internals are generally a bit harder, and leaking cracked valves can be very tricky.

Even if you aren't too confident about repairs and/or mods, you can always start somewhere. After all, if it's in such a condition that it's virtually unusable in warfare, what do you have to lose? It's how I plucked up the courage to overhaul my 1500.

Best of luck with it.
