Super soaker CPS 2000 mk2 modifications

Post by sparky » Wed May 18, 2022 1:57 am

Hi all,

I have a super soaker CPS 2000 MK2 and parts from my old MK1 cps 2000. I was wondering if it's possible to put the bladder from the MK1 into the MK2?

I also have a bladder from a CPS 3000 Which is also pretty big.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

I think the bladders in the CPS 2000 mk1, CPS 2000 mk2, and CPS 2500 are interchangeable. Here's an old website where someone put a CPS 2000 mk1 bladder in a CPS 2500, but wasn't entirely happy with the results: https://web.archive.org/web/20050325145 ... index.html

The CPS 3000 bladder might be interchangeable with those as well, but I'm not certain.

Ultimately, though, you may just want to replace these old original bladders with new latex tubing. The original bladders are increasingly likely to burst as they get older. Here are some guides on how to replace the bladders with latex tubing:
