hey do you think i could get more range out of my CPS 3000 if i replaced the laminator walls with straws? because im thinking of doing that.

I don't imagine that modifying/replacing the laminator would increase range much. If you want more range, consider LRT. Either add onto the existing PC, or make a new one.

You might be surprised! The laminator in a stock CPS blaster (although, from what I've seen, the 2k laminator might be a bit better) is pretty restrictive compared to a homemade straw-based laminator:

It would increase the rate of flow, and reduce the shot time for sure, but a range increase is not definite. It certainly shouldn't reduce performance if you are careful.
I need to get around to finishing the 1500 overhaul. The nozzle shoots weird as the laminator seems to move around in the nozzle, so I'll be doing this myself at some point. Unfortunately a big NERF project is taking precedence (MUST be finished before 1st March). And I haven't yet brought the 1500 to uni.
