Here I am with another topic inderictly saying "help me find a good gun! (remember my best tanker poll?)

What are some good modding combinations for any guns (preferrably easily accessable guns so the mod can actually be done)?
Something I was thinking of is CVF, Shotgun mod and XPS mod a Max D 6000, and hopefully it would have 10x or higher.
Or maybe go crazy with a flash flood by getting suitable LRT and colossusing it.

Any other ideas?

This thread is just too vague. To get better and likely more useful responses, you need to narrow things down more. Just asking for overall mod ideas is like telling someone you're hungry and want ideas on things to eat!

If you could be more specific about what sort of blaster capabilities you want, your budget, etc., you'll likely get more useful feedback. As is, it's really hard to suggest anything since pretty much everything is open.

I'm not really looking for anything in particular, other than going crazy with modding a gun. For instance, I'm not looking for the common k-mod idea, unless it's with a few other mods. Basically my goal with this thread is to look for ways to completely change the performance of a gun. So with my Max D 6000 idea (not really MY idea, but anyway...), it would act nothing like a normal 6000 would.
Did that add a bit more detail or do I still need more?
An example of the kind of modding I'm looking for:

I think the point mr.dude is getting at is that he wants to know what gun is best to mod, that you can buy now. Im thinking get a splat blaster or a yellow jacket (which I know mr. dude has) and do some modding there, as they are avaliable.

Not exactly the best gun to mod, as much as it is the best set of mods to a certain gun. With my ss100 super repair, I changed the trigger mechanism completely, turned the PC into a CPS type PC and I'm hoping to give it a capped reservior.

What about these other examples of mods from other sites? would you consider any of these?
crazy Flash Flood mod
OR
PC expansion for FF ( or guns with a similar layout)

Its probably just me, but I consider modding a Flash Flood a waste of time. Its like buying an expensive dinner set for wine in a box.

I recomend getting a Spherical CPS and doing a K-Mod. 12x output and 50-60 distance. Its quick and "relatively" inexpensive in money and effort. Or perhaps instead of getting a Flashflood to mod, just buy a spherical CPS and leave it as it is. Even 90s stock soakers are better than modded contemporaries.

Regular k-mods are yesterday's tech. If you want range of at least 60, forget the 50s, do a multi-nozzle mod in addition to the K, and use math to find your ideal nozzle size. If you want even more range, buy two spherical CPS guns and swap the pcs, putting the better pc in the better internals.

I was wondering about the PC swap. How do you remove the glued on rubber bladders on some plastic pieces that are not compatible with other soaker's internals?

You swap the plastic pieces as well. It's been awhile since I did one, so I don't remember the exact details, but if the connectors don't match up, you'll have to switch them and put the opposite connector into the pc you want in the primary gun. SM has more details on this.

What's the formula needed? Grade 8 math doesn't quite talk about water guns :p

The "crazy" one is exactly the kind of idea I'm looking for.

If there aren't any better ideas I'll try that. So are there any more ideas?
