I have finally gotten my mark 2 open and started to k-mod it. So far it has 27 balloons but still a check valve. I tested it out in a fight against my sister (she had hose) and my half done 21k won due to range. I am very satisfied with the results but I want to double check about where to cut the check valve.

is this where to cut?

Check out the CVF Article at SSCentral. Your picture isn't loading so I'm not sure if you've circled/located the right part. However, the pics on SSCentral are pretty clear so you should be able to find what you're looking for.

Instead of making a new thread, I might aswell just use this one since it has the same topic.
I got CPS 2100 of ebay a few days ago for $21 US($5.99 + $16 shipping). And what do you know, it turned out to be a Mk2. It Leaks all over the place but has for some reason more juice than my mk1 that I sold last year.
Other than sawing off the pump cap, is there something else I should look for when opening it up? Do I have to saw off the nozzle to? It looks like its glued.
I intend to do the 1100 mod, since I also got a CPS 1000 today that I also bought on ebay. All I need to buy now is a screw driver, saw and a package of baloons.

Tear open the outer nozzle and pry open the yellow ridge at the top of the gun. Unlike the mk1 and 3, that ridge doesn't like to open on mk 2s.
