I've been thinking about modding my CPS 1-3-5, I can't seem to remove the 5 nozzle caps when I'm trying to open it.

For modding, a K-mod of coarse, but i don't know where to cut for the CVF. Are they any nozzle enhancements? could I take off the nozzles, and stick in a PVC as a single nozzle?

This article should help about that. Instead of having the single nozzle, you could make it so you can use multiple nozzles sizes from the same nozzle opening. Definately take off the 4 outer nozzles though.

This CVF article has some pics, none of a CPS 1-3-5, but at least you can tell what a check valve looks like from those pics.

Edit: I made a spelling error! :goofy:

I am waiting for my 1-3-5 to arrive in the mail. When it does, I might be able to take a few internal pics. Here is my list of mods I plan on doing to mine.

- 70 balloon k-mod
- cvf
- internals reinforcement
- Nozzle mod
- 3 liter resivoir expansion
- pump reinforcement
- trigger reinforcement
- all black paintjob

I want to perform my first k-mod so I am very eager to get my hands on this gun.

The gun may have five fixed nozzles, but they all connect to one main piece of pipe. You will have to cut it right before it splits five ways.

It should be a pipe like the one in the picture where you can clearly see the mesh screen.

I'm not sure you can just go cutting that pipe since the trigger assembly is likely where the pipe splits into 5 (don't forget the CPS1-3-5 can fire either 1, 3, or all 5 streams, therefore the valve assembly must be along with the split if not after).

Isoaker's suspissions are correct if I remember right. I had a CPS 1-3-5, but traded it for a 1500. I think the 1-3-5 gets alot of bad rep it doesn't deserve. It's not supposed to be a heavy cannon, so don't think of it as one. Anyway, now that I have that out of the way here's my advice:

First, do you want it to only have one nozzle or five? If you want it to have five still I suggest you drill out the existing nozzles only a little bit, around 2.5x should be good with the mod you plan on doing, maybe a little more, but nothing bigger than 5x. If you want it to only have one nozzle I'm really not sure how you're going to do that. If I remember right the nozzles don't all come together, so I don't think you can really do that, but open it up and see what you might be able to do. Think about it first before doing it, you can ruin a gun by acting on impulses when modding.

I have a 1-3-5 and it's trigger broke but i remember it being a good gun. The stock gun is not a worthy replacement to the cps 1700 but if you add a nozzle selector to the middle nozzle and cvf it could be as good as or better than the cps 1700.

If you Integration Mod the 1-3-5, it could not only outclass a 1700, but could also easily outclass a 17K! Every integration modded gun has the potential to outblast its stock or standard modded counterpart. And every other stock or standard modded gun, now that I think of it.

I know this is off topic but I don't beleive this question deserves a thread. How can I open up my CPS 4100? isoaker said something about using a vice girp to take off the end cap how can i do this?

Not sure, as my 4100 endcap was glued on. I just sawed it off, as it has no useful function.
