WW Raven

When was this released? I don't remember hearing of such a gun...

Interesting eBay find! Either that's a really bizarre mislabelling on a WW Wasp or that's the rename of it coming out next year that that seller somehow managed to get his/her hands on.

Hmm. If it's a mislabelling, it's odd, because they'd never previously come out with a raven, nor any other birds as far as I know, and if it's next year, it's a little odd as well because... well, it's 'raven'! Odd name for a soaker.

Well, it's primary colours are "raven black" and "raven beak yellow". :goofy:

Possibly European? I seem to remember Supersoaker issuing a few really different color variations across the seas.

Variation out of country would make sense, but does WW sell that much in Europe? I'd think they're still too small to jump to expand to that market? I really don't know though.

A European version (or other region version) would make the most sense. There was that German Blazer version by Carrera a couple of years ago with the flame decals. Of course, there's one way to find out; time to track down Big Bee. :goofy:

Update: I asked Big Bee about this one; seems like the WW Raven is what the WW Wasp is being called for 2008. Even he's not sure how it got onto eBay, though some retailers may have already received some early promo-shipments.

Lol, I bid on it. Don't really care if I win, as the joy of having a 2008 soaker in 2007 would wear off two months from now. :goofy:
