Broken CPS 2000 mk. 2, selling for shipping cost

Around a decade ago, Adrian sent me a broken CPS 2000 mk. 2 on the condition that I don't give it away again. Unfortunately I can't fulfill that promise any longer as I've moved into a new apartment and don't have the space. It's either give the blaster to someone else or throw it away, and I can't stand the thought of the latter. I doubt Adrian would object at this point.

I don't remember all the issues with the blaster. As I recall, it was not in working order when I received it. I recall that I did not have time to repair it, so I put it in storage. At some point after I received the blaster, it lost all of its screws. (Or perhaps it came with no screws?) Your guess is as good as mine as to what happened. I think my brother started tinkering with it at some point though I don't think he did much. Also, I've looked the blaster over and noticed that the handle is cracked, but that should be fairly easy to repair with epoxy.

I think the blaster probably could be restored to working order without too much trouble. Alternatively, it may be a good source of parts. Cosmetically the blaster looks good as it has been in storage for most of its life.

If you are interested, post here and I will contact you via PM at this forum.

The forum must be truly dead if I am offering a CPS 2000 (broken or not) for cheap and get no responses!

Well I blame coronavirus and droughts for partially killing demand for water guns at the moment.

CDMT messaged me and I'll be shipping to him provided the price is acceptable.

I'm attaching some photos of the blaster.

It's in worse condition than I recall but I am confident that it can be put into working order again. There is no pump handle. (My CPS 1000 also is lacking its pump handle, as well.) The front is also damaged but not in a way which will affect performance. It could use a cleaning but appears to be colored far better than my CPS 1000, which is fading.

I second that. When I lived in California it was like nobody was interested in water guns, because they could not waste any water due to the drought. I realized that this is going to be an East Coast hobby for the foreseeable future. We seem to have more water than we know what to do with right now.

By the way, I did not tinker with this gun. I recall opening the cardboard box it was in at one point to look at it, but I do not think I ever held the gun. It just came to Ben in poor condition. I recall the screws being in a small baggy, though they might have gotten lost at some point. It would have been nice to get it working but at this point I think the best use of it would be for spare parts, in all honesty.

I guess the screws must have been thrown out by my father whenever the box was thrown out. It doesn't make sense to me why the blaster would come with its screws removed. I have no recollection of removing the screws or looking at the blaster.

My experience with this CPS 2000 and my CPS 1000 is going to make me a lot more careful about what I keep in storage and also more careful documenting what happens to my blasters.
