Power Drencher on Ebay!!!
Wow... Check this out. It's the SS 50 before it even became a Super Soaker. I have never seen one of these before, and I consider it to be similar in rarity to the XP 300. Now there's one on Ebay. Unfortunately you'll have to pay $150 if you want it, but this is like the ultimate collector's soaker. I'm curious as to why the reservoir is different from the one in the picture on isoaker.com (until now, the only picture of one I'd ever seen). I think the packaging is different too.
This is actually quite a coincidence, as I was talking with my brothers about rare guns just last night. We mostly talked about the XP 300, but this was mentioned as well.

Unfortunately, it's still just an SS 50...at least the XP 300 is good. I'm pretty sure that there's a lot of variation in early SS 50s due to it being a new concept in water guns. None of my SS 50s are the same, they all have slight and sometimes not slight differences.

Yeah, both of my 50s have some slight differences. They both perfom about the same though; we got around 27' out of them. They can probably push 30 if the conditions are right. Not very good, but they still serve to decorate the armory, and for opening up a can of whoop-ass on Nerf SS users ("This thing is 24 years old!").
I love the seller's description: "I had one when I was in middle school and I remember my friends in awe when I drenched them from afar, all they could do was run with their pitiful battery powered guns!!" I also love the slogan: "The Most Powerful Watergun EVER!" Those were the days...

Cool. Take some pictures of it so we can see if it's different than iSoaker's or not (yes, he did get the one that I linked to in this thread). There seems to be a ton of variability among these, as well as SS 50s.

Holy crap, another one! What's going on lately? I'd never seen a real picture of one in the 6 or so years I've been into water guns, and then in one year, three of them show up on Ebay.
I wonder if XP 300s will also start suddenly appearing.

I've been on the look out for these ever since I found out about them (at least 6 years now if not more)... never a sign, then now a whole bunch appearing. Quite odd...
