I recently bought a cps 1000 off of ebay and when i got it the gun was leaking terribly. At first i thought it was the nozzle valve but when i opened up the gun the whole nozzle in the gun was completely broken off. I was wondering if anyone has this piece that they will be willing to sell, i will gladly take it off your hands. Just name your price.

If you could post up some pics we might be able to help you repair it. Almost anything can be fixed, just some things are more difficult than others. Depending on where exactly the break in the nozzle piece is, it might be a very simple fix, even if it has been snapped off.

This link focuses on fixing poor lamination, but the same method for reconnecting the nozzle pieces (it was sawn in half to access the laminator internals) might be applicable.

CA99 and Duxburian usually have spares like that, so they'd be your best bet if you can't fix it.

I tried super gluing the piece down and using a waterproof selant but it still was leaking. Not nearly as bad though but enough to where it wont hold pressure. Do you have any other suggestions on fixing this.

Dude, please post a picture. If the nozzle broke off, it should still hold pressure. It sounds like it broke off at the base of the hard chamber where the pull valve rests. That will be tricky to fix, but is totally possible (and cheap). As far as replacing the nozzle you are really looking at replacing the whole hard chamber. One of my cps 1000's had the pull valve broken in two places, and has more glue than plastic holding the water in, but it works great. Just needed time, sandpaper, clamps, and jb weld.

you are correct soakinader. I tried using jb weld and even putting around the whole piece but water always seem to come out everywhere because the whole piece was so messed up. i put some more today at the spots of where i saw it leaking but im not sure it will hold.

That looks quite serious! How on earth did that even happen (obviously not your fault, but the previous owner)! If it doesn't hold, you could reinforce it with metal or plastic pieces beneath layers of JB Weld.

Does the pull valve seal properly still? That nozzle looks at an awkward upward angle compared to the firing pin.

Did you cut away some of the front of the casing to make it fit? That might make fitting a replacement pull valve a bit trickier if you have (not impossible, just trickier), as the pressure may just force it out of the front of the blaster (the PC is only connected to the valve by a push-in fitting with couple of o-rings).

I havent been able to really test it yet but im not that confident everything will work right. i also have not cut away any of the housing.

It's probably just some of the JB Weld on the casing making it look like it's been cut.

I've got one, but I'm pretty sure that its valve is already open and it was having problems, else it wouldn't have sat open for so long. Not leaking problems, but pump-shooting ones beyond the rubber band repair's ability to solve. I'll have to go look for the parts when I get home.

Lol, it's not, especially on a day like today when shippers know there is a holiday and no Mon service - there will be a huge rush in the afternoon. Right now I am at the UPS Store. Not ideal, but it "pays the bills" so I'll be here until something better comes up. Some days are 8-6 which is murder. I come home and dont have the energy to do anything.
