All I can do is laugh. At the end of the day, even the oldest Super Soaker models are not nearly old enough to warrant that kind of a price. People overestimate the number/intensity of collectors and/or antique enthusiasts. People are willing to pay $100 for say a CPS 1500 because they remember how big and powerful it was and they want to give their kid a cool present. Very rarely do people buy old water guns simply to collect them. Something like this is just too far away from the "usability" side of the spectrum.

I think in another 10 or 20 years, something like this might become the status quo, but I might be wrong.

I used to look at HESS Trucks all the time that said that, it took several weeks of my dad pointing out the shipping to me on different things for me to understand.

It is new in box, but even so, that is way overpriced.

NIB SS 50: ~$30
Keychain: ~$10
Water tanks: Maybe 20 bucks
The opportunity to own all of these at the same time: $290
