A near-mint condition CPS 2500 for 7$.
-Or maybe the Monster X for 5$. Beaten and broken, but still one of my favorite buys ever.
Of course, my recent activities have netted me two new things which may be even better....

I got two broken 4100's as a "generous donation of arms" from a friend once. One of then has since been fixed and has been in service for years, and the other needs a few screws and a ton of epoxy so I can close up the pull valve.

I got the MXL from a friend for pretty cheap, but the excitement died down quick after test-firing it. It seems great for carrying lots of water around, and little else since I can hardly move when it's fully loaded.

Nahh, that's nothing. Show me a Monster XL or CPS 2000 mk1 found at a thrift store. That person wins.

well ... maybe, and maybe not.

December first, 2013. So, somewhat after this thread uh ... paused.
Goodwill store in San Jose, on Blossom Hill near Kooser (yeah there actually are two on Blossom HIll)

Was $12.99 ... now ????

I bring it up, since this is the marketplace, to "test the waters" as it were, for a possible sale. I'm in no hurry.

A few of you know me from Nerf. A few of those have known about this soaker since I found it. I took lots more pictures, then I cobbled together a very sturdy box to store (and maybe ship) it in.

It's been safe in my garage ever since. There's a NIB Super Soaker Monster Rocket next to it now. I have some parts to a second SSMR, but it is missing the ballast ring, the main fins, and maybe more. New foam fins are easy to make, but I've never been interested enough to try to assemble it, or to do any more with the NIB one than inspect it in the box, and read the instructions.

Image It's not like they're a set or anything. It just made sense to me to keep them together.

Wow. That's a clean side CPS 2000 MK1 , BNIB. That is freaking legendary. I would say the sky is the limit on that puppy, you would be a fool to sell it for less than 500 bucks.

That has to be the best buy EVER.
