I would message them and ask if by "fine" they mean that the guns generate pressure in the tanks when you pump them and water fires out of the nozzle when the trigger is pulled, not before, and doesn't keep firing out the nozzle after the trigger is released.

If so, then that's a great deal!

I dunno if I'd buy Max-D guns that aren't brand new. You'd be better off with XP guns in that size range, like 310 and 240. These things may be on fire sale, but how does an MD 6K break? By using it. How does an XP 310 break? By tossing it off the Empire State Building and then running over it with an Abrams tank.

I seriously laughed at that. My 6000 broke a little while ago, but I haven't opened it yet because I've been busy with the 1200.

I actually had an XP 310 for a few days; I brought one off ebay (It came with 10 other soakers, including my 2700.), but when the package arrived, the 310's reservoir had somehow cracked off. It was fine in the picture, so I assume it broke during shipping (That's another way a 310 will break. :goofy: ). We sent the guy an email, but someone accidently deleted his reply...

I ended up throwing the 310 away, which was a colossal mistake, now that I look back on it; I could have easily given it a replacement reservoir, perhaps even a backpack, but it didn't cross my 14-year-old mind.

Back on topic, I don't think I'd want used Max-D blasters either, even though my 3000 and 4000's, all of which I got from ebay in that same purchase, haven't broke yet, though I don't use them nearly as much as I used the blasters that did break, like my 6000 and Arctic Blast.
