Which one of these should I buy? I already own have a Helix. Prices are based on what they will cost me at my local KB Toys. I have a $5 gift card that must be used by the 15th of this month. There is only one blazer left. I have never tried a gun with a backpack water tank so I'm not sure If I would like Hydra Pak/Aqua Pak. Piranha is just a cheaper alternate to Blazer if you don't think Blazer is worth the cost.

* Right now they have no Super Soakers in stock. If I bought a super soaker it it would probably be a Flash Flood ($20). I will not get one if the don't have any by the time my gift card runs out.

THANKS - PLEASE VOTE

I don't know if a poll was the best thing...this would be better as a discussion topic. Anyway, the Blazer IMO is by far the best. I've used all of those except the Hydra Pak. The Piranha is the second-best, unless you need a FF nozzle for some strange reason. The main stream on the FF is about equivalent to the medium stream on the Piranha. If you want Amazing shot time and water capacity and don't care about range, get the Hydra Pak. But I would reccomend the Blazer. It's might fine.

I believe there are already enough review stats out there about all of them to come to a decision yourself which one you would like. No one here knows what you prefer as in capacity or output or distance... . Its never a recomendale thing to let other people make the decisions for you, since if you don't have their taste, you bought the wrong soaker.

I'd go with the Blazer, too. It is the closest any recent soaker has come to CPS, and although I personally don't like it, there's not much else out there. Of course, don't expect "blazing" performance.

Actually, it performs better than a CPS 1200, and is on par with a CPS 1000. The Blazer is also very light and small. If you think about it, the Blazer is also equivalent to a CPS 4100.

The Blazer gets 40 foot range, which is superior to the 1200, 4100, and 2100, and the same as the 1000. It also has a larger PC than any of those.

One disadvantage is the outputs. The largest stream is 5-7x, but it gets poor (25-30 foot) range. The second-largest is a 2-3x, and gets 40 feet. The one other disadvantage is stream force. The blazer, I think, shoots with less stream speed than CPS's, even though it shoots further than some. It also doesn't pack as much punch.

Personaly I still like the CPS 1200, CPS1000 and CPS2100 over the Blazer. While the Blazer is this generations ass kicker, its underpowered compared to the small CPS Cannons of the past.

I have used multiple models of all small CPS cannons, and my favourite is actualy the CPS 1200.
I got two CPS 1200s Mk.1s, that are still in very good condition, and those have an exelent force(equal to CPS 1000) and distance(35-40 feet) shooting at least 5X (double checked twice with a measuring cup.) I would choose the CPS 1200 any day over a Blazer or any contemporary, and its the reason why I didn't buy or plan to buy a 2005 Blazer this year. But then again, tastes differ.

Now having said that, get the Blzaer if its still there. Its as good as it gets nowdays.

Really? I have found CPS 1200's and 2100's to not shoot that far, only 30-35 feet. But models differ. The small CPS's pack more punch with the stream compared to the Blazer, regardless of range. I plan on getting a CPS 1000, because it has always sounded like the best light CPS, even though I haven't used it. iSoaker says the 1000 gets 40 feet, the 2100 gets 35, and the 1200 gets 30. Whatever. I've also heard that the angled cap on the 1200 gets annoying.

From what I have seen, 2100 and 1200 ranges vary wildly from one gun to the next. I've seen a 2100 that shot 42, one that shot 28, one that shot 35, etc. You can feel the difference in power. Accurate ranges for middle CPS guns like those should be averages, since no two will shoot just like each other.

Just because something says something doesn't mean that something is automatically true. You should always test ranges locally and go by local stats when possible. Your own tape measure, cup, and stopwatch are better for you than someone else's.
