About much is a CPS 1000 supposed to wroth, and how much would you pay for one?

A CPS 1000 is worth about $30, which is also about how much I'm willing to pay for one.

martianshark gave a fairly decent idea of its raw worth, but I should note that there are those on eBay who would be willing to pay beyond $30 for a 'classic' CPS blaster like the CPS1000 assuming it is still in working condition and looks respectable. Exact values will range, but in the summer, I would believe you could get more than $30 for it.
