I think you should get it, it would add some power to your armory. I thought these were in very short suppy. Pick it up if you can.

Wait...Canada, yeah I believe they still get some. If you get it, just re-enforce the trigger. I didn't and it broke because it is so weak...must...repair...trigger...

That's exactly they what they costed last year. But, you are lucky you found them because last year was the last year to buy them in stores. Or, maybe not. :suspicious:

sorry, i thought it would get attention because noone ever posts on my threads:(
speaking of weak triggers, i've had my max-d 600 for about a month and abused it quite alot in that time, so why does everyone think they are so weak?

Well, just the ball-valve trigger is flawed in design. The 4100 does not have a ball-valve, just a very thin piece of plastic holding it to the open/close valve of the nozzle. These will usually break, but if you re-enforce it, you shouldn't have any trouble.

It you open it up and put some epoxy aroud the thin plastic link that always breaks, it should be all right. Of course, having only had bad experiences with 4100 triggers, I'm not exactly qualified to say much. Dux would know, and a few of the other members here.

I don't believe they DO make CPS4100's anymore. He probably got lucky enough to find one from last year's (or two years ago) stock that was stored in the back and got brought out. You can still find CPS 2000 Mk.1's NIB in stores, you know. They are just EXTREMELY hard to find.

Ugh, there was a huge stockpile of CPS 4100's last year at my Target.... and one day they were on sale for $10.00 each.... Whish I had bought more than one....

Abyway, I'd definately get the 4100, especially if you don't own any other medium-large CPS soaker in your arsenal. Even if you don't prefer medium CPS's, its an excellent addition to anyone's armory. Just watch out for the trigger (follow the advise above ^_^)

If you buy a 4100, try to get one in an original box rather than a soakertag box. 4100s in a soakertag box are 100% mark II, meaning trigger problems. A 4100 in an original release box could be a mark I or II. Mark Is have no trigger problems. Did everyone forget that there are two marks of 4100s, one which has a pretty darn strong trigger? Of course, the overwhelming majority of 4100 overstocks are mark II, so might as well reinforce anyway.

Lol, I have a Monster and a CPS 4100, and both of their triggers are broken. This little reinforcement is a must if you want to keep your CPS 4100 very long. Of course I'm lucky enough to get guns with the triggers already broken, so now I get to try and repair them. :(
