How big are you into airsoft? Into soaking? If you like one better, go for the one you are more interested in.

New Airsoft pistols are always better than the old ones. You can buy another Airsoft gun in the future that will be even better. The new soakers suck ass compared to the CPS2100, and it apears that they won't improve any time soon. I would advice you to trade the Airsoft pistol for the CPS2100, since after a couple of years the spring will become weaker anyways. Its simply a better investment no matter from what angle you see it.

ya your right, you cant really just go out and buy a 2100, and my airsoft is kinda old. how badly does a worn bladder affect performance on a CPS gun?

Unless it has been left pressurized for a long time or has endured a lot of abuse, it should last a long time. Just make sure you get to test it out before you trade, to see how the power and ranges are. I think that the CPS chamber is the least of your worries unless it has been beaten todeath.

Its not worth it for $40 IMO.
The only thing I can see you doing is giving him the airsoft (which was $35) and an extra $5, that should cover it, I don't know, it is all up to you.

ya i didnt think so either, i saw it earlier today and it was pretty beat, the PC was cracked, he left water in it since last summer, the pump rail was pretty severly cracked, and the trigger spring was so rusty i couldnt even pull the trigger. as i wrote in anoter post, i found a CPS 4100 at toys r' us for 20$ CAD. any opinions on that?

If the PC was cracked, and the cracked pump rail, and the trigger is hard to pull, he should give it up for free. Poor little 2100, didn't do anything to anybody.

That is worst then my CPS 1-3-5 which had alot of abuse before I bought it at a garage sale. Like SharpObjects said he should give it up for free. I wish I had the power to mend broken soakers.

:D lol, Dux would argue that you do have the power to mend broken soakers... and my opinion on this deal? Yah, your "friend" sounds like a dick, at least for trying to rip you off. I throw my vote on the pile of "should give it away," but if he's going to insist, I agree that the Airsoft gun valued at $35 plus $5 cash should be a fair trade, but again, I can bet how he'll react to that idea, based on my current opinion of him...

get that one instead of the CPS2100. Sure, the trigger might break on the CPS4100, but there are enough tthreads around that show how to fix that.
