new cps 2000

just bought brand old cps 2000 in my city for 10 dollars at a garage sale, 2 days ago, what a good deal!

i will be using it to play with and k-mod later to increase its power

I am having a hard time getting it open though. any help with cps 2000 internals?

Ten dollars? Nice deal! Unfortunately, you cannot k-mod a CPS 2000; it has a cylindrical pressure chamber. However, you can perform a mod called a colossus, which is similar to a k-mod, except it uses bike tubes. The link for the mod is below.

As for opening the soaker, use a small flathead screwdriver, and if there are any glued bits, use a saw. I know for a fact one of the straphooks is glued so you may have to saw that open.

the trigger is hard to pull, i think its because its been sitting in someones garage for a few years

how do i fix it

super soaker central has a repairs section have you seen it. open thewater gun and find out why

i bet the trigger has something stuck on it or maybe the valve is dying
