Low-End CPS Price Range

Post by C. Bob » Sat Nov 29, 2008 4:34 pm

What would be a fair price for a CPS 1000/1200 nowadays? I've been out of it for a while, and I haven't kept up with the modern Super Soakers or Water Warriors lines; I don't know how they compare quality-wise. Are they more similar now, or are the originals still best?

The originals are DEFINITELY the best. However, I'm not sure about prices for a 1000/1200.

See here. There's no information available on the winter sale prices of CPS 1000s or 1200s, but expect $20 on average, but less if you're vigilant. Prices have also been falling in the past year (thanks to the bad economy, probably), and this is the off-season, so water guns will be cheap if you find any.

The going rate for a 1000/1200 these days is $30 in the summer and $15-20 in the winter. You'll see those on eBay.

Originals > New releases
Water Warrior for three summers and counting.
Was captain of a team, but team disbanded due to lack of interest.
Still love soakers.
