This is what, the third time the XP 70 has been released? I might pick one up, I love that gun just cuz it's so simple and durable.

Yeah, third time! Those crazy Hasbronians. This is a very good gun, though a bit underpowered, it is very reliable and durable. Mine worked fine before I let it meet my bandsaw in the effort of creating a super soaker cross section*, which turned out quite good. :goofy:

*No, I lie, I was just looking for parts and the screw were too rusty. Though it did make a nice cross section...

Interesting... well, the XP70 is supposed to represent the 'standard' soaker from which future nozzle powers were to be measured by according to Hasbro once upon a time...

Thanks for the heads up! :)

Sorry, only just saw this thread... XP 70 again?? I've bought two now, and have one working between the parts of both, between missing one firing tank, and breaking (and repairing) the trigger mechanism on the other. I've always wanted to try using two small soakers at once, just because it would be so cool to have doubles in a fight, and it would add an intimidation factor, that someone was willing to make the effort to try that. (Also, on both, try to picture all of the neon yellow parts spray-painted black instead, on both... cuz that's what it will look like. All other colors will be the same.) Awesome, thanks for the info!!:)

Have they released any other classics? Certainly if you've re-released the XP 70, you'd re-released to XP 110?

I hope so, the XP 110 is probably my favourite gun, I've had it for 9 years.

Whoa, that's a long time. The most I ever had one was 3 years.

Nine years? I think the XP 110 came out in 1998. :p

I've still got a working XP 105 and it was only a year or two ago when my XP 65 broke.

It would be nice if Hasbro did rerelease some more of their classics like the XP 150 or 105. Any gun with a riot blast nozzle. I just loved those.

The Max D Secret Strike and the STE Flash Flood have riot blasts...kinda.

In a way I suppose they do. But I really want a classic to be rereleased as the riot blasts from what I have seen on them look really powerful. Even though the XP 150 has been rereleased twice already I was not into soaking back then so I missed out. If they rereleased (even though I have already said some of them) the XP 150, 105, 95 or the XXP 175 or 275 it would be nice. I could be asking for a bit much here but any one of them would be nice. I would definately buy it. Its just a matter of opinion really.
