There's a couple on ebay right now, but there are a lot of bids and the prices are probably gonna be expensive when the auctions end.

That's a lot. You can get one for $50 or less in wintertime, if you can wait. And you won't get one for just $80 at this time of year.
And, a CPS 1500/1700, CPS 2500, or CPS 3000/3200 is better, IMO. Honestly, why do you want a Monster XL? If you want to own all water fights, one of the above five CPS-series guns is better. If you want to scare the heck out of people with your awesome soaking power, one of the above five CPS-series guns will do the job better, and for a lot cheaper. So many people make the mistake of thinking the Monster XL is the best water gun ever made, just because it's the biggest. It's not. I myself own a Monster XL. But I find the CPS 1700 to be more effective, and you can sprint with one, as well.

Uhhh... I'm afraid not. I could hardly part with my CPS 1700 and 2000, or my Monster XL. But if you keep an eye on eBay, some good ones will come up. It's not that I don't like that Monster XL, I like it a lot. But it's not worth paying spring/summer eBay prices, which ofeten go over $150 on Monster XL's. And you'll get more for your money with one of the five I suggested. What sort of guns will you be fighting against? And what is your current armory?

Why don't you just wait for someone to offer you one or find a cheap one on eBay, and asking members who have a Monster XL isn't a great idea, like asking Hannibal just now, and me (which you have PM'ed about). Just because I have one, it doesn't mean to say I'm going to sell it!

In a sense, you're asking the wrong group. Those here who have soakers usually don't want to part with them. If someone is selling their soakers, they usually list what they are willing to sell. This thread has been visible so since no one here is willing to part with their MXL, particularly for a price below what one can get if selling on eBay, you'll have more luck with the auctions on eBay than trying to convince anyone here to sell for less.
Others have given good suggestions on how to potentially buy a MXL for within your price range. However, it'll just take time and effort if you really want one.

He PMed me also, even tough I didn't say anything about selling here.
The thing is, in the past when I actualy sold Monster XLs around May, I sold them beyond $120. If I do sell, then I won't sell below that. Forum sales have never really caught on, since most forum members don't want to sell, or pay high prices. Ebay right now is the only actual option for you, ultimategamr. So that should be where your energy should be spend.

To be honest, I would actually buy a Monster XL for $120 if it was in good condition and was a 2000-01 version. Although I can't really buy a Monster XL yet anyway since my money can only go so far at the moment, and I might as well wait until end of soaking season. Anyway I'm looking forward to getting the Scorpion when I have the money which will be soon hopefully, but that's another topic.

There are two Monster XL's on ebay right now. I'm going to try to get one because there is alot of other soakers on ebay right now includeing a CPS 2000. But, I bet the price will still be high anyways. The one that shows it firing in the picture has a q.f.d. the other one I'm not sure about, I do not think the seller even knows what a Quick Fill Adapter is!
