I predict that by the end of the auction we will be looking at 180-200 USD.

I believe I also will be selling a CPS 2000 on eBay sometime in the near future.

Thats gonna go close for 200 dollars or above. Even if it sold for 20 dollars, I would't buy it since shipping is a rip off.

Man... $30 for shipping is rather steep. I didn't see that.

Check the pinned topic for more info on the Mk. 1 and Mk. 2 difference.

Gee... $200 USD not including the shipping cost is the current bid with still over 1 day to go... that's sorta scary. :goofy:

Yup Jim, shes jumped $193.00. The Monster XL's reign as the most expensive Super Soaker didn't last too long. Dang, some people really, I mean REALLY want this gun, when my whole collection of Heavy CPS Cannons coul doverpower this one blaster. Kind of pathetic if you think about it.

edit- I also noticed another CPS 2000 on ebay, the Buy-It-Now is like 150-200 dollars, I guess he is assuming from the other auction that is what he will get.

I'm kinda glad that the CPS 2000 is worth more now. It is, after all, worth more than a Monster XL in real respects.

I find this funny because I built two homemades more powerful than a CPS 2000 for much less than half that.

Well, good for you. I'd be proud of myself as well if I could muster up a weapon with that much power, made from my own hands. :)

Yeah, theres another cps 2000 with a buy it now for 250 dollars! Starting bid is at 100. My chances of getting one have died right in front of me. I'm not spending that much for a super soaker!

Good, it is WAYY overpriced anyways. You'd have more fun and power with one of Doom's Homemades. Try one out, I hope to get amterials for mine soon, I hope.

Phire989, if you're going to sell a CPS 2000 on ebay then you should give a good description of the power, the range, it's rarity, and perhaps include a shot of it's stream when it's fired. If you emphasize that it's really powerful and rare, then it will probably earn you more money than if you were to give a very brief description of it, like most people do.

Hooray! $200 with 16 hours left. At least the CPS 2000 is a better gun than the MXL. I couldnt stand having the MXL as the most expenisve watergun. It's really not worth it.

My sentiments exactly, Roo.

The bidding ended at 202.50. I guess that the CPS 2000 is definitely still themost valuable soaker out there, folks!

I've seen a Monster XL go for 210, no challenge.

who the heck is buying these 2000's and MXL's for like $100-200? IS it some of us? because I cant imagine anyone but the people in the water gun communities spending near that much.

Veteran, back in 2002, I saw a CPS 2000 go for 275 dollars.
