Selling Monster XL
Hey,
I'm in the UK. I have a Monster XL that I kind of need to get rid of due to impending move and lack of space. The thing is just so darn big :;):
I rescued it from going in a friends bin a while back. It's in good condition overall, there are a couple of scuffs but minor. There's no discolouring as it's lived inside. The main problem is that it leaks from the charging nozzle when pumped, so it doesn't build up much pressure at all. It needs fixing somehow, I've made a couple of attempts but never cracked it. I used to fight this gun with my CPS1500 and I know it hasn't been used that much at all as the fault developed quite early in it's life.
Anyway I'm a bit old for the scene now just wondered if there'd be any interest from UK soakers who want to make an offer. I really wouldn't want to see this end up scrapped cos they don't make 'em like this anymore

Please don't use all caps and so many commas. That is often considered spam, and at the least is annoying. A post like that would get you flamed/banned at a place such as NerfHaven. We are very lenient here, but don't test it...

You should sell it on eBay in early/mid spring to get the most money. People would pay $100+ even for a gun that isn't in the best condition, if you market it right, not that I'm garenteeing you'll get $100. But if you're looking to get it to a good home, and aren't so much after money, then someone on the forums might buy it.

I browsed the nerfhaven boards once, didn't really like it, then again I don't like nerf.Duxburian wrote: A post like that would get you flamed/banned at a place such as NerfHaven. We are very lenient here, but don't test it...

I'd reccomend a CPS 1500 or a CPS 1700 or a CPS 2500. The 2500 goes for less than half the price of the MXL, and the 1500 and 1700 go for a fifth of the cost. I have a MXL, and, though it isn't too bad a soaker, I prefer the 1700 to it.Soaker Master wrote:I wish I had a Monster XL they cost to much.

UPS costs a fortune, sadly. You'd be looking at over £50 for shipping alone, I would guess.
