The only way to get one is if you know someone had one and didn't want it, ebay, or over the fourms. But look out for the ones on Ebay that "look" like the 1500s, they are a joke. You can tell because it does not say super soaker, and it has no nozzle selector.
Good luck in your hunt.

Basically, no. eBay and the forums are your best bets, although it's worth checking your local stores just in case they have some on clearance, although that's pretty unlikely.

There's two places in Germany: Play-Offensive(translated)/forHeadsNetwork(eBay worldwide) has CPS 1500s and Pavlic stationery trade(translated)(goggle: "super soaker cps 1700") have CPS 1700s. Use babel fish to send a German email asking details. Good Luck!! Brad

Hey thanks for pointing that out. I'm going to buy one of those new 1700's there and its all thanks to your great finding!
I think I may also if all goes well perhaps buy a 2700 and a 3200 on my Birthday perhaps which isn't too far away.
Darn! They don't ship outside of Germany. Oh well.

Actually, there are CPS 1500's on eBay very regularly. And if you are willing to settle with a CPS 1700, there were a couple auctions for lots of 4 that only went to around 60 dollars.

Well actually, if the place is helpful enough you can schedule UPS, DHL, FEDEX, etc. to pick it up. The only problem is that the place its being picked up from has to usually fill out the export documents. You might be able to fill them out youself and fax it. I getting ready to do the same thing with a Toy R Us manager in Canada. I ordered a Monster X from TRU.ca but if couldn't be sent to his store, so he's going to use his house as a "waypoint" and UPS will pick it up from him and send it to Texas. Some hassle, but the only way to get a NIB MX. I also ordered a CPS 2500 from forHeadsNetwork(eBay worldwide). Hopefully that one makes it before "summer temps." end...we are talking southeast TX here, so that won't be till November/December. Later, BradWild Boys wrote:Darn! Well, I saw quite a few 1500s/1700s on Ebay. The 1500 is goin for $5.50 and doesn't have a strap, but who cares. Add one yourself. It's a good deal and is ending today. So if you want it go now and bid.
