My target(the store) is selling CPS 4100's for $30 and i thought it'd be a good gun to get since my CPS 2700 is close to it's end.

anyway do you think $30 is a reasonable price or not?

Also how do you tell the durable 4100's from the non-durable ones?

30 dollars is okay. I would rather pay around 25 or less. I think there's some meathod of telling what mark the 4100 is by checking the inside cap to the tank. I believe if it's purple the trigger is more durrable.

Edit: I forgot to mention that if the 4100's are in soaker tag boxes then I doubt you'll get one thats durrable. In any case I would immediately reinforce the trigger once I get it.

Mine has them for $20 in the toms river Target in NJ for those in the area, Not the durable kind. I took it to a friends party, with a lightning, stinger, and a few others my friends had, and I unloaded it on them! They ran away after being hit with the 8x nozzle. That was fun. Most have never been hit with a caliber of that size. If you see it, even thought its the bad version, i don't think you can go wrong. I'm just hoping to see a 2700.

Whoa, sweet, Another member from NJ. Thats like 5 now. I doubt you'll see a CPS 2700. You never know though. Guns randomly show up in stores.

It's as reasonable as you're going to get if you want a brand new, large soaker. Target did run a week-long sale a while ago which featured 4100's for $20 a pop. Who knows, they might do it again. For $20, the 4100 is an unbeatable deal. The only thing I've seen better was the Monster X for $20 on TRU clearance...last year.
