'Tis the season - To hunt for bargains
Seeing as it is now mid-october (a little late, but no matter) it is that time of year to again go hunting for the cheap water guns that stores put on clearance. I just picked up 6 guns from KBToys and Big 5 for pretty much pennies (I think I spend a total of around 30-40 dollars) for a Cps 1700, 1200, and 4 2100's. Anyhow, I would encourage anyone who can to go looking at the local toy stores, Wal-Marts, Sporting good stores, and even Rite-Aid and such. Good hunting

On eBay I bought an XP 150 mk.1 for $0.99. Shipping was around $12, however I got ripped off by the seller, according to the packaging it was actually about $4-5. Either way, great deal on a great gun. Watch out for stuff like that. If people paid as much attention to the good XPs as they did to any CPS, you wouldn't see what is arguably the best light rifle go for less than a dollar.
Also, check out Sports Authority's if you haven't already. My SA still has about four CPS 2100s at even lower prices than before, I think they're about $6 now.

I agree to the part of your statement on where is now the time to get more soakers if you so wish. For anyone who is not informed, prices are usually cheaper in the cold winter months on Ebay for Squadrons in Canada and the United States.
However what you found was on extreme luck. I have gone around to many stores within a 50 mile radius of my home, and found not 1 water gun. So if you have some in your country around you lcoally, pick them up for a good price. Otherwise, Ebay or other auction sites are your only options for getting the golden oldies.

I'm posting from the Apple Store Chicago (That's right: Cloud's on a PowerMac G5!)---
I just bought three CPS 2100 from Sportmart (A Subsidary of Sports Authority) for only 9 bucks each... not a bad deal. In addition, they had some Helixes for 5 bucks each and Vaporizers for a mere 3 dollars.
Definitely "'Tis the season."
