Well, just got back from doing a little wandering and shopping. I found many stores (not all, though) have mid/end of summer-type sales on their summer items, notably the water blasters/soakers. I managed to pick up a few Total X-Stream soakers I have yet to review for 50% off! Not bad...
Today's catch includes:
1 Air Pressure X-S 5.0
1 Mega Snapper
2 Aqua Rebels
While not on sale, I also picked up a lot of other things for my other soaker-related projects.

Interesting. I havnt been to a store this summer yet (well ok yes but rarely :p ). I think the reason for this is because obviously, people arnt buying Soakertag or second rate soakers. However Im sure that at least in a few locations you can spot a good deal. I will have to check out my area ASAP.

In my area they sell *bad* soakertags. But if I drive out of town about 1 hour to this small town they have CPS 1200's and CPS 1700's !!!
Edit:I'm not sure if that word is ok'd by ISoaker (if that's why it made it through the filter) but since I don't know, and there was a complaint, I the swear-word out of your post. As always, if you think what I did was wrong, feel free to PM me or ISoaker. - Adrian

Storm, you seriously ought to get some of those CPS 1200s and 1700s. You won't regret it.

A TrueValue store near my house has a Super Soaker pool blaster (the piston-like one) for $20. Is it a good buy?

I wouldn't buy it for $20. Unless you have a pool or you have enough fighters to afford a base-defense soldier. Not to mention, a bucket.

You guys are lucky in America in Australia we can't even find an XP 215.(because it's the middle of winter here)TrekkieOO I don't think the pool blaster is worth $20. :soakw2000:

If you live near a Target, and want some cheap water guns, the entire 2004 line is on sale. A Vaporizer for $3.00! :O
Just a bit of advice: NEVER VISIT WALGREENS FOR WATER GUNS! They're trying to sell the Vaporizer for $7.00, and an XP 310 for $15.

Trekkie's right. You can get a Vaporizer or a Max-D 2000 (w/ Soaker Ball) for only 3 bucks each at Target. The Vaporizer is also in a different colo(u)rway at Target. Green tank and blue body. I like it better than the standard.

No offense, Veteran, but I'd rather spend $8 on a 2100 than $15 on a 310. Personally, I think it'd be a better deal.

Storm, definitely grab some CPS 1200s and 1700s while you still can! The fact that you have a store an hour's drive away is great for you. I remember a couple of years back I saw shelves lined with CPS 1000s, 1500s, 2500s, 2700s and more. And you know why I didn't buy them?? Because I hadn't heard of them before and I didn't buy them because of this. All I was interested in was "The new XP Backfire!!! It's a two way attack!! And the CPS 1-3-5! Shoots 1, 3 or 5 streams at once!! And you know what I bought instead when I couldn't find the 1-3-5?!?! An XP 270 and XP 215!!!!! I was so stupid, and should have known more about soaking at the time. I've been kicking myself regularly since then and now I have to get them shipped from halfway around the world. I now have a crappy old internally rusted XP 270 and a broken XP 215 and it's all my fault!! My point is, grab those soakers before it's too late or you may regret it for years to come, like I did!!

If you think $15 for an XP 310 is expensive you should see the prices in the UK. A XP 310 would cost you £15 (about $27.50) wherever you go and a MAX-D 6000 would cost you £20 (about $37). My CPS 4100 cost me £30 (about $55!) and that's cheap over here!

You have to pay extra for the shipments overseas. They are shipped out of the U.S. from China to the U.K.

Forceuser, I know how you feel. My family lived in Germany for three years. When the CPS 1700 finally got over there, it was ~$40. Yikes!
