Flash Floods on eBay

Post by Nitro123PG » Wed Mar 16, 2011 7:52 am

I've been looking for a Flash Flood on eBay but can't seem to find any. I know there will be a lot more blasters on eBay once soaker season hits, but how common are Flash Floods and how much do they usually cost.

Here is an arctic blast, which is basically the same thing.

The FF is still a better blaster; mostly via superior ergonomical design. Unfortunately, they're not sold around; I guess almost everyone just tosses them out when they break instead of fixing them or selling them.

They always charge something ridiculous for a Flash flood. The cheapest one I've seen was about $45. It would be cheaper to just modify an Arctic Blast.

^^ This is true. I've never seen a reasonably priced FF on eBay either. Makes it completely pointless to get one unless you're a collector or something.

I have two FF's myself, though one has had a bad repair history. It has barely been used in any wars ever since it broke 5 years ago, and everytime I fix something, something else breaks. The other one was used a lot more lightly over the years and hasn't had any major problems (that I'm aware of) so far, other than requiring a valve lubrication one time.

Yeah, the Flash Flood is a bit better. Not that the Arctic Blast - also available in different colours as the Iron Man blaster - is bad, and it does tend to be a bit cheaper.

Spotted a Flash Flood going $20.00 with shipping a couple days, but it was snapped up right away.
